Daim 6 years
Posted by C. Wichmann in ABWA, Dalmatian, Puppies on October 19, 2010
This picture is 6 years ago… Daim is running around in his breeders house in Sweden… Today Daim turns 6 years old and I wonder where this time has passed! It has gone so fast! He just became a proud father for the third time. Daim was actually my first Dalmatian and he is the one that I have been around the world the most with. He came fourth at Crufts 2006 among the Junior dogs. That was an adventure I will never forget! We drove from Sweden to Birmingham, England (GBR) and entered the biggest dogshow in the world. It was just amazing!
He is just a happy amazing dog!!!
I was at ABWA meeting yesterday and it was just awesome. We had a vendortable and it was really successful. A lot of networking and some new clients. People was asking a lot of question and that was so fun! I will go into Dallas tomorrow to have some private classes and I am looking so much forward to it
The puppies had their dewclaws removed today. The vet thought they were really good looking and healthy! Co-Co thought it was so much fun going in the car. She just loves that!
Autions and pupps
Posted by C. Wichmann in Around Town, Dalmatian, Dog Resort, Events, Puppies, Terrell Chamber Of Commerce on October 17, 2010
The auction last night was fun but cold. Mom got a big cold and has been in bed all day
We got pretty much from the auction. Stuff that we will use for the Dogresort. A computer, a printer and an officechair. Then we also got 4 bags of horsefeed for the price of 1. That was a bargin!!! Our pillows was sold for $30.00 each…
All puppies are still going just great. Eight puppies is a pretty good number. It is still manageable… (is that a word?) They are almost the same size and having four boys and four girls makes it easy. I think most of them are liver spotted (brown spots)

Co-Co delivered 8 healthy puppies this morning! She started at 2 am and was done 7:30 am! Four boys and four girls, all healthy and doing great. One of the girls has a brown patch. They are sooo cute all of them and Co-Co is such a proud mother!
Co-Co’s breeder sent me this picture. It is Co-Co with her mother Britney when Co-Co was three days old
And Daim is a very proud father. This is his third litter
Tonight is the Terrell Chamber of Commerce annual auction. It will be a lot of fun. Hope that you are coming too!
A lot but nothing

The days are filled up with a lot of stuff right now but nothing interesting to tell… I have been helping Prospect Mountain with their book keeping for a couple of days. I went and did a poly graph test for a job today and passed that! So I am not a lier nor a criminal
I really don’t have anything to hide or lie about so it wasn’t that hard but you get nervous anyway… We are waiting for the money for the loan for the dogresort and been promising them on Monday, finally!!!! Then the work with ordering everything and all that kind of job starts. It has been a couple of days of just waiting and we couldn’t do anything.
Hershey is in heat and Co-Co is getting bigger and bigger. She is due next Wednesday but I think she will give birth on Tuesday. She delivered the day before lasttime too and that is also the puppies fathers (Daim) birthday! Gosh, he is already 6 years old!!! Time flies!
Terrell Civic Auction is coming up on Saturday. Mom and I will help them decorate tomorrow. It will be fun. Hope to get some good pictures at least. We are donating two pillows with embroidery on. I have no clue what to wear thou… I guess I will have to figure that out…
The tractor is broken too… have to go and get diesel and get it to the doctor. It is still under warranty. It is the aircondition that isn’t working
Well, hope to be back on Sunday with some fun pictures!
Texas Pet Expo
Posted by C. Wichmann in Dog Resort, Dogs, Events on October 6, 2010
I got a call yesterday about Texas Pet Expo. First we thought it was too expensive to have a booth there but they called me up and said they had some special prizes. We could get a smaller booth for less than half the prize. That we could fit into our budget so we said yes… So we will be here:
It is so important for the dogresort to get out with the name and even if Plano isn’t our main target the word by mouth is very important too. We will of course sell our cookies there. We have booth 219B. So now we have all promotion planned almost at least:
- 16-17 October, Dogshow Canton
- 18 Octoer, Vendortable ABWA meeting
- 28-31 October, First Monday in Canton
- 6-7 November, Texas Pet Expo, Plano
- 13 November, Edgewood Heritage Jubilee, Edgewood
- 19 November, Ribboncutting with Terrell Chamber of Commerce
- 20 November, OPEN HOUSE!!!
So it really is a lot going on now!!!! It is so fun! In the middle of everything they called from a job that i applied for in August and asked if I was interested in continuing the process. It is always good with an extra income so of course. So next Thursday I am going there too…. And on top of that, it is only 2 weeks left to puppies!!! Co-Co is BIG now! I will try to take a picture of her! So life is kind of fun right now!!!
On Monday mom and I had to practise the dogs to a costume… I had so much fun, the dogs thought I was really strange…

Sunday morning… nothing special is going on. I have been watching World Equestrian Games from Lexington, Kentucky. Wish I was there… that would be so much fun! Was also watching golf… they all played so bad! Even I could have joined them…
The weather is a lot colder than a couple of days ago! I kind of like it but it is chilly… looking for a jacket that I can wear but it needs to be grey…
Trying to collect everything I have to do next week. I really have to push my self to get everything done. Mom is going to do the drivingtest for her Texas license tomorrow morning, then I have a bunch of phonecalls to make for the resort and at night the choir practise start again in Dallas…
I took some pictures yesterday and this morning of the dogs… muddy and clean… LOL…
New layout again
I am not saticefied… but it will be like this for a while now… I think…
We have decided to be on Canton next week even if we don’t get an indoor booth. We have to start somewhere and “feel the market”. So I will call them on Monday and see what opportunities there is for us to be there for the weekend! With that decision comes a lot of work. I have reorganized the cash register that we have so it says Saint Cox and not Daimilus on it and so all numbers are 0.00. I still have problem with how much cookies I need to make, I really have nooooooooooo clueeeeeeeeeee how much to estimate. But I think we should be there with the goal of getting as many contacts as possible instead of selling as many cookies as possible. But we still have to print flyers, busiesscards and other information.
Everything is almost set with the bankloan as well
So next week starts the big work too. It is only 1,5 month left to opening so it is a lot to do! We are excited… And we are expecting puppies before opening too , it is only 3 weeks left now so things are really moving! It will be another Dalmatian litter this time too…
We were supposed to be in Dallas today but it rained too much. It was the Swedish organization SWEA that was going to have the annual garage sale but since it rained so much it will be tomorrow instead. I don’t think we will be able to be there thou…
Well, I guess I don’t have much else to tell you folks… just another Saturday
