Pictures of dogs…

Sunday morning… nothing special is going on. I have been watching World Equestrian Games from Lexington, Kentucky. Wish I was there… that would be so much fun! Was also watching golf… they all played so bad! Even I could have joined them…

The weather is a lot colder than a couple of days ago! I kind of like it but it is chilly… looking for a jacket that I can wear but it needs to be grey…

Trying to collect everything I have to do next week. I really have to push my self to get everything done. Mom is going to do the drivingtest for her Texas license tomorrow morning, then I have a bunch of phonecalls to make for the resort and at night the choir practise start again in Dallas…

I took some pictures yesterday and this morning of the dogs… muddy and clean… LOL…

Fall

It is totaly unbelivable for me that fall starts 10:09 pm SHARP!!! Who knows that? And even more amazing is that it is right. The temprature is going down and the feeling of fall really comes. It is like someone is turning on a “fall switch”. I am actually looking forward to fall. This summer has been a little bit too hot and long for me this year.  I’ve said it before that I am not allowed to complain about the heat since I choosed to move here but noone told me that it was going to be summers like this! This heat came already in end of May!!! So yes, I am looking forward to fall now

We took some pictures for Christmas yesterday… OMG…poor Shannon. She didn’t get what we wanted to do in the beginning. She thought I was angry at her. Then she figured out that I wasn’t and that this wouldn’t hurt. She was so proud of her self when we were done.

Molly wanted to be in a picture too. She did a great job as a photomodel… She really looooves attention

So now it is up to the production team to pick what pictures to choose and make the commercial. Maybe they want me to take some additional pictures… we’ll have to see.

Otherwise nothing new at all… I have been stiff in my muscles lately but today is a lot better I have already been in Dallas once today to drop of mom and will go back later today and pick her up… other than that, just a normal day…

Frustrated

I’ve had two relaxed days… and I hate it! I so want something to do! I am trying to find a job. Preferably a part-time job but it is not easy. I am also trying to get job to the embroidery and administration business and that is not easier if anyone thought so. We are still waiting to get answer regarding moms business with the dogresort. That is what we are mostly waiting for. So, if anyone knows an assignment or a job, TELL ME!!! It is getting really frustrating to do just this on the days

I met a dog…

I have start to excersize… I take walks of an hour a couple of days a week. I like it. Especially today when it wasn’t extremely hot. This little dog came out on the road and followed me for a while…

Well, we got some rain finaly… yehaa. Not much but better than nothing. We had a lot of thunder and lightning around 3 am but no rain at that time. They say it might come more later tonight…

We have two limping dogs right now both limpin left front. Daim and Zascha. We can clearly see that Zascha has hurt a toe. we don’t know how thou… But Daim is a strage thing. He is not swollen but stiff and not walking good. Both is on Rimadyl now for a couple of days

Well, we will go back to the park tomorrow. We have some hours to kill in Dallas while mom is at the doctor. We will be there around 7:15am until noon…

Begging

Molly is one of the dogs who always can help you with the dinner.. this is how she was sitting next to me when I ate my dinner tonight… But poor Molly didn’t get any food. She feels so sorry for her self!!!

Still no rain… Apparently it was rain both in Wills Point and Terrell yesterday but not a single drop here. We have 6 miles to Wills Point and 7 miles to Terrell… isn’t that strange??? Well, if I ask too much for rain I will probably regret it later so I keep quiet now about it…

Today has only been officework… and a lot of it… organized all my email address and stuff like that so pretty booooooring. We have some late night work to do in the dogcenter but have to wait until it gets cooler so mom can be outdoors. She has a hard time now in the heat with her COPD so we have to wait until it gets cooler…

Horses

The farrier was here today. All the horses was so nice I was proud. When he was done we let the older horses out on the whole farm so they could eat up some grass. That way we don’t have to mowe it

I think they enjoyed it See if they want to go in to their pastures tonight…

The puppies has been out for the first time today but they didn’t enjoy it as much as the horses… they just slept…

The puppies will do their BAER-testing on Wednesday. We still have a couple of girls left for sale if you are interested!

The first of the cocker spaniel puppies has left fo their new home. He moved to San Antonio, TX. Next one will move on Tuesday. We still have one Cocker Spaniel puppy left to find a new home for…

R.I.P Shakey

We had to make a tough decission today. The Cocker Spaniel girl had a brain injury that we hoped would solve it self but she is now 8 weeks and no improvement is made so we had to put her to sleep.

Thursday – Pictures

I try to update with pictures every Thursday or when ever I am off work. Todays pictures is from when they got their first own meal… they just looooooved it. And that is also why they are so dirty…

Even moms puppies has been out today, enjoying the nice weather…

And Geisha as well…

Cocktail and puppy update

Cocktail is back on track! He is just doing great! He is barking as he usually does and running around like crazy. He is still on medication and special food and will so be for a while Thanks to Van Zandt Animal Care Center again for all your help and support. What would we do without you?

There is only one puppy left of the Cocker Spaniel puppies. . Three is reserved now. They will start going to their new homes in next week. 

We have some inquirys on the Dalmatianpuppies as well but we do not concider them spoken for until we get the deposit.  But they are all doing great and I will have more pictures on Thursday when they are turning 4 weeks!!!

Otherwise everything is pretty calm here on the farm. The sun has been out for a couple of days, we have done some embroidery that we will deliver today .

Puppies and Cocktail

Yesterday Cocktail started vomiting. First we thought it was because he ate too much but when it didn’t stop we took him to Van Zandt Animal Care Center today. He was dehydrated of course and they put him on fluids right away. During the afternoon he was X-rayed and they did see something strange on the pictures but can’t tell if it is just gas or something that he has eaten. He will stay at the clinic over night and new pictures will be taken tomorrow morning and we’ll have to go from there.

The puppies are getting bigger and bigger, both the Cockers and the Dalmatians… Here are the Cocker Puppies… first the four boys

And the girl. She is doing better but she is not good yet…

So to the Dalmatian puppies. They have spots and all have opened their eyes now. All the girls are still up for sale! They will do their BAER-test (hearingtest) in about two or three weeks.

The Dalmatian puppies turns tree weeks today!!!  They are all so happy and cute!!!
