Monday and Tuesday

We finally got a outdoorbooth at Canton Thursday – Friday. Not the best spot but we have to take what we can get when we are so late…

Mom finally got her Texas Driverslicense yesterday. Some stuff are just hard to start with but not hard to finish, and this was one of them. So now she drives leagally here too

We have done some embroidery today… Terrell Chamber of Commerce will have their auction October 15th and we will donate two pillows that my mom is putting together now. Then when we were doing embroidery we did one for the dogresort too

Patience…

I just hate to wait… I want everything to happen at once. Once I got an idea I better work on it right away but sometimes it is impossible.  Many of my thoughts right now goes to the dogresort. It looks like we can have it up and running in middle of November and that would be so much for us! First of all – we have something to work for right now. This summer has been one of the worst periods of my life and now I can see some “light in the end of the tunnel”. There are still things that needs to be fixed and everything can be changed in a second but I want to think positive. I promise to keep you updated as soon as something happens

I am still waiting for the rain. The forecast says that it might come tomorrow… well, I want to see it before belive it… I have never been without rain for this long in my life. Well we got like two showers of rain two or three weeks ago but I barely don’t want to count it. it lasted for less than 10 minutes. But the storm Hermine is going to give us some rain… *keep my fingers crossed*.

We still have Kennelcough among the dogs. Well, it is a lot better but we still keep the dogs on the farm. It looks like we have two upcoming litters in October. Mom Cocker Spaniel Zascha seems to be pregnant and my Dalmatian Co-Co. So I bet we will have our butts filled with work in October with business, puppies, mom is going to Florida for a SWEA conference… yehaa… I think all days I’ve been doing NOTHING this summer will soon be over…

We are also working with the things for the embroidery ad… this is the first thing that got ready… more things to come

Nice feeling

Sitting at my moms house, very saticefied with this day The day started with a Ribboncutting at Petermann. They drive all the schoolbusses for Terrell ISD. They served burgers and hotdogs! When I came I was so thursty, maybe that was showd at me because the first thing I got was a Mountain Dew. I just loooooove Mountain Dew! It was soooo great!

Went home and did the rest of the embroidery I had to do today. The machine worked so well today *happy*. Just to have that done. The best part is always to write invoices . On my way to Wills Point the themometer in the car just raised from 107 to…

We also got a nice letter in the mail today. We have been saving weight circles with Purina, when we get dogfood, they have a print on their bags that you collect and when you have a certain amount of points you can choose from some prizes. We hav now been saving to a vetcheck of $350. Do you think it was so nice to turn it in today!!! That was a lovely feeling

We got some drops of rain yesterday… LOL…

But this was about all we got since the sky looked like this…

While writing this they have come up with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kaufman County but I guess we will be without the rain anyway… just because we need it so bad!

Well… time just to relax and wait for the rain…

What happened???

For weeks and weeks I have been sitting, doing nothing. Trying to find a job or something to get money out of. It has been horrible. Yesterday a customer called me and she had 15 visors and some shirts that needed to be done. The visors was kind of ASAP things. So I did them here in the morning. While I was finishing up with that another customer called and she had 20 shirts that needed to have double embroidery on them… their logo and name! This is just awesome!!! So great to have something to do! Now I know what to do tomorrow too  

I have been walking around on small clouds today from everything that happened yesterday! To win that advertising was just amazing. It will be so much fun Mom and I went to a ribboncutting for Shadowridge farm today. It was a really nice place . Unfortunatly they don’t have a website but they host weddings and other events. A really nice farm. I was mad that I didn’t bring the camera…

Well, better get back to work, have to find a hawk to embroider…

Spots spots spots

We were up in Lewisville, TX yesterday to meet some of the puppies relatives… it was so much fun!

I’ve also done some embroidery today that I will deliver on th ABWA meeting tonigt… even that one had spots on

New phonenumbers

Last night I just got enough. Since we got the new numbers to the company we have got textmessages and phonecalls regarding and with sex. A pastor has called me 6:59 am every sunday… Be happy that I am awake!!! But last night I just got enough. That textmessage was just too much. So we went back to Verizon and talked to them about this situation and they helped us to get new numbers. So the new number to Daimilus & Terrell Danes is 214-717-3865 and to Saint Cox is 214-717-3864. All other numbers to us starting with 214 can be erased!!! By the way, if you have a businesscard from me, you will probably have some information that is wrong on it. Ask me for a new one so you have all the right information

I was going to do embroidery here in the afternoon but realized that the dog (probably Hanna) has chewed on the cord to the floppydisk reader so I had to go back to Rockwall again!!! So annoying. But it was after all good because I got stuff that I missed earlier today when I was in there for new businesscards. On my way home I was going to buy some dinner for mom. I felt too sick to eat but bought so I can eat it later. It is way too hot for me right now! I started with the embroidery when I came home and it went smoothly actually!!! It is deadline on some of it tomorrow and that is now done

Tomorrow is dogpark again but it will be the girls turn… Very interesting to see how they behave!

Another thing.. I want to do something fun Friday night. Anyone want to go out, take a drink or anything??? It is boring to do alone… or do you have any suggestions of where to go??? PLEASE?!?

Weather and Embroidery

I don’t know if I dare asking for some rain??? I sure know how it end up in February when I just asked for some snow… but we need the rain. Just a little bit? It was close call today but it stayed in Wills Point, 6 miles from us. They got rain but this was all we got…

But this heat we have now makes me to take in the dogs already at 11 am. I have to let some of the dogs out at night so everyone can be outdoors. Specially the puppies needs to be indors during the warmest hours now!

I finished up Saint Cox embroidery today. I was pleased with the result and so were they!

 I will wear my uniform tonight on a meeting I have to make something for myself with both logos on… I am kind of split into two people sometimes since I am involved in both Saint Cox and Daimilus…

Embroidery & more…

The last days has been about a project we want to do. But to do that project we have to prepare a lot. I can’t really tell more about it right now, but as soon as I have more information I will pass it along to you. But that is the reason you haven’t heard so much from us…

Texas has gotten a lot of strange weather lately but everything missed us It has been really warm and humid, the spring/summer is here, no doubt…

Today has been a lot about Embroidery… first 8 aprons with two different things on:

We went to the ABWA meeting on Monday! It was so much fun!!! Nice to see everybody again. I haven’t been able to go for the last meetings because of work but now I hope to be back again We were so welcomed and people was happy to see us again Outside the country club was a pretty fun car… I just have to show you…

Good Luck

One of moms Cocker Spaniel puppies left for a new home yesterday and two of them flew to Chicago today! Three puppies out in two days makes alot of difference… The puppies mother, Vicky also left for her new home today! So four dogs in two days makes a lot of difference! We wish them all good luck in their future homes and as soon as we get updates and pictures we will of course publish them here

The Dalmatianpuppies will do their hearingtest tomorrow morning. It might be that we can’t report the result until Sunday since I’ll be gone with my other job for a couple of days… But I hope that I can update the result from my phone!!!

I’ve been off work at Braums today but I’ve been loaded with work. I did 7 shirts and 20 caps today that will be delivered tomorrow!

Cocktail and puppy update

Cocktail is back on track! He is just doing great! He is barking as he usually does and running around like crazy. He is still on medication and special food and will so be for a while Thanks to Van Zandt Animal Care Center again for all your help and support. What would we do without you?

There is only one puppy left of the Cocker Spaniel puppies. . Three is reserved now. They will start going to their new homes in next week. 

We have some inquirys on the Dalmatianpuppies as well but we do not concider them spoken for until we get the deposit.  But they are all doing great and I will have more pictures on Thursday when they are turning 4 weeks!!!

Otherwise everything is pretty calm here on the farm. The sun has been out for a couple of days, we have done some embroidery that we will deliver today .
