How did she?

Early this morning our neighbour called and said that she had horses in her yard. It was still dark outside. Got dressed, took a halter and went over there. It turned out to be one of the yearlings. It was so dark so I couldn’t even tell who it was. All horses was so calm and nice. They  went to one of the gates so I could just open it up and let the horse (it was actually just one on the wrong side of the fence) to the others. Took the halter around the neck on one of the older horses. I saw it was a grey one, I have two but I honestly don’t know who it was. And it didn’t matter. All the horses followed me in the dark and walked nice and easy into their pasture where I know they are “locked in”. Otherwise they can walk all over the property… It was so dark so I had to wait until sunrise to see if anyone was injured or how the fence looked like…

No injuries and the fence was not broken anywhere… very strange… she must have jumped the fence… I think it was Dot Com DW. The other darkbrown yearling has a halter on her and this one didn’t…

I was so proud of my horses that stayed calm and behaved just great in the darkness. They could have gone crazy and made it really hard for me but they were really nice!!!

Horses…

I opened up for he horses again this morning so they could begin mowing again *lol*.  I also opened a pasture that has been closed until now. We will see how long time it takes until they find it…

I will try to get good individual picturs of the and present them bette here with pricing and information…

We are looking forward to another very HOT day… Jim at Terrell Daily Photo posted a winterpicture today and that made me cool down a bit… I also saw some pictures from Chicago on TV and they must be so sick of rain… I guess I am one of those people who is never ever happy with the weather…  but it is extreme right now. We will get up to 106F today…way to hot for me…  I feel sorry for the Saint Bernards who has a hard time in this weather… Geisha is out during early morning and nights…

otherwise today is just continue with the jobhunting… can’t afford to go to class today with Shannon Don’t have money to gas or the class… so we will have to practise at home instead!

Hold your horses

I took mom into Dallas this morning. Since they said on the weather last night that it might be rain I left the dogs home and went back home after dropping her off. And that was lucky me.
When I came home I found the gate to moms back yard open and some horses and two dogs in there…

I got Oliver and Geisha in the house and after a while all the horses was out again. What a suprice.  And what could have happened if I stayed in Dallas? Noone is hurt, just two chocked dogs…

Zascha is doing better today, not limping as much as before. I guess that toe will take some time to heal up. Daim is also doing better. 

Labrador Retrievers are waterdogs… Hershey is just an example of that…

Well, other than that, nothing has happened since last night…

Horses

It was long time ago since we had pictures of the horses here…  It isn’t that much going on with them when it is this hot but just as an update, here are some pictures:

Horse and puppy update

A friend of mine, Brittany needed to have some fun today! So we took Hanniball and Dardanella and went out on the road for an hour! It was so much fun. It was HOT but I think both the horses and we liked it very much

Stephanie sent me some pictures over Facebook on Daimilus Dark Spot On Top or “Chance” as she calls him! He seems to be doing great

Sunday morning

Happy Mothers Day!!!

In Sweden we don’t celebrate Mothers Day until the last sunday in May, so this year it will be May 30:th. Lucky mom that will have two Mothers Days. We will not celebrate Mothers Day that much today thou… bring home some good food to eat and that’s it.

It is cold outside today. I had to put on a lot of clothes when I and the camera took a walk this morning checking on the horses… they looked happy. They are shedding their winterhair now and look horrible  but they are in good shape otherwise.

Back

I have been in Fort Worth with my job for a week but I am back now. Mom has been taking care of the dogs and horses while I’ve been gone!

The puppies has visitors today and the were tired afterwards..

I try to keep them outdoors as much as possible. Makes it easier on cleaning and I think it’s better for them! They are all doing great! The first will leave for their new homes next Saturday!

The horses are getting better and better… they walk around on the farm and continue their job as lawnmovers… doing a pretty good job

I will try to take pictures of the puppies tomorrow again… time has gone too fast…

The farrier was here today. All the horses was so nice I was proud. When he was done we let the older horses out on the whole farm so they could eat up some grass. That way we don’t have to mowe it

I think they enjoyed it See if they want to go in to their pastures tonight…

The puppies has been out for the first time today but they didn’t enjoy it as much as the horses… they just slept…

The puppies will do their BAER-testing on Wednesday. We still have a couple of girls left for sale if you are interested!

The first of the cocker spaniel puppies has left fo their new home. He moved to San Antonio, TX. Next one will move on Tuesday. We still have one Cocker Spaniel puppy left to find a new home for…
